Resistor vs. Levator started out in May of 2004 when Resistor asked Levator if she would be interested in getting together to play music for fun. Resistor showed up at House Of Levator with tofu sandwhiches from Saigon Deli, and a session was commenced, recorded, and forgotten about for several months, until Resistor went back and made a CD of the rehearsal. Several months later, Resistor attended a Zero Points' show at Patti Summer's and ran into Levator there. She insisted Levator come outside to listen to a band on her car stereo which was parked across the street from the club. (the recording was a CD of the above first rehearsal but she did not tell Levator) We both listened to the recording in my car and agreed that it sounded pretty darn good for a first-time session. This is the part where I think a few light bulbs went off in our heads. We continued to play very infrequently, but Resistor soon agreed that Levator should just go ahead and book a show, which happened in August of 2005 - Resistor
